Overview

The ice rink concession stand cashier/event host will internact with customers, complete sales transactions and assist with all functions of reserved parties in the ice rink.

 

This role will pay an hourly wage of $16.28

 

For PT roles: Benefits: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. Also, OVG provides part-time, seasonal, and internship employees with one hour of accrued paid leave per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year. 

 

EVERGREEN ROLE: Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; there is no application deadline

 

Responsibilities

-Make sales transactions including using a cash register, making change and using a credit card machine

-Serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner

-Reconcile cash register with sales receipts

-Maintain a clean concession stand, ensuring compliance with all sanitation and safety requirement

-Stocking and replenishing concessions and condiments

-Setup and clean up party area

-Greet parties and assist customers with check in, signing waivers, and explaining the rules of the ice rink

-Serve food and beverages

-Monitor time to ensure parties stay on schedule

-Accompany children during pre-arranged activities

-Other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager

Qualifications

-Food Handlers card requird, or be willing to get one prior to start date

-Enthusuastic, friendly, organized team player

-Must be able to communicate clearly and in an effective manner

-Previous customer service experience preferred, but not required

-Be able to work evenings and weekends

-Be able to lift up to 20lbs unassisted
