The Event Security position is responsible for ensuring the safety and security for all events. Event Security employee will perform duties assigned as related to the event in regards to the overall security, safety of the employees, guests and clients.

This role will pay an hourly wage of $14-$16.

• Performs all event and non-event security duties as assigned.
• Provides guest assistance during the event
• Monitors perimeter doors to ensure no unauthorized access is gained to the event
• Monitors guests during ingress/egress for disruptive or inappropriate actions
• Monitors credentials of all personnel entering the backstage and other restricted areas
• Monitors and maintains a clear and safe passage route in and around floor level accessible seating area(s)
• Maintains aisles and insures guests are in their proper seat locations
• Assists guests in the event of an emergency evacuation
• Operates walk through and/or hand held metal detector units
• Performs other duties as required by On Duty Supervisor
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the On Duty Supervisor

• Prior security experience preferred, but not required.
• Able to work Nampa Civic Center events as assigned.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in the English language required
• Ability to work beyond traditional business hours, including nights, weekends and select holidays, is required
• Must demonstrate strong attention to detail
• Must demonstrate a positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude
• Must demonstrate the ability to work well under stress and exercise good judgment, diplomacy, courtesy and tact under all circumstances
