As a Locksmith at the Miami Beach Convention Center, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the security and functionality of all doors and locking mechanisms throughout the venue. Under the leadership of the Director of Venue Operations, your primary responsibility will be to ensure all locks, doors, and access control systems are in pristine working condition. You will perform routine inspections, repairs, and installations, while promptly addressing any issues that may compromise the safety or operations of the facility. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will contribute to a secure, efficient, and seamless event environment.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $38.71

The Locksmith works in indoor and outdoor work settings with mild to adverse exposure to environmental hazards. The incumbent must be able to climb stairs and ladders and walk long distances to access all areas of the facility. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild to loud. Incumbents in this position work in varying settings and will be subject to noise and atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odor, dust, etc.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Flexible hours with ability to work varying shifts, including:
Nights: (as needed), Weekends: Saturdays and Sundays (as needed), Holidays: Major holidays, including but not limited to: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day (as needed), Ability to work overtime as required.
Schedule may vary depending on business needs and may require adaptability and flexibility, Some weeks may require more hours than others, and schedule may need to be adjusted accordingly
