Overview

Reporting to the Director of Events & Assistant Director of Events, this position will manage day to day event parking, traffic, pedestrian, and guest service operations on the campus of the Greenville Convention Center.

 

This role will pay an hourly rate of $18.50

This position will remain open until December 31, 2024.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure operational excellence and high-quality service by developing and implementing efficient procedures with emphasis on continual improvement.
  • Manage shuttle cart operations when implemented.
  • Hire, develop, train, and support teams of in-house part-time parking supervisors and attendants.
  • Ensure all parking systems are operational.
  • Perform minor maintenance of Parking Equipment (POS devices, cones, tents, signs, barriers).
  • Inspect all parking systems/devices to ensure they are operational.
  • Assist Director with creating new parking products, additional revenue streams, and reducing costs of the parking operation.
  • Assist with strategic planning, traffic management planning, and budgeting.
  • Manage rideshare and drop off operation and coordination.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in parking/transportation management, event management preferred.
  • Knowledge of parking revenue management systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must have the ability to work flexible schedule including long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be comfortable working with the public and have strong interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Valid driver license required.
