Overview

The Director of Finance, Planning, and Analysis (FP&A) will play a pivotal role in driving the financial strategy and performance for UBS Arena /Oak View Group. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial principles, and a passion for the entertainment and sports industries. 

 

This role will pay a salary of $112,000 to $145,000 and is bonus eligible.

This position will remain open until Dec 31, 2024.

 

Responsibilities

  • Prepare Annual Budget for UBS Arena
  • Maintain Annual Forecast for UBS Arena
  • Significant involvement in Sr Management Presentations, including quarterly Board Meetings
  • Build and maintain various financial models for various revenue streams including parking, food and beverage, and strategic revenue opportunities
  • Analyze actual financial results and provide commentary on variances to budget
  • Partner with department leaders to maintain forecasts for their operating expenses
  • Create, maintain, and distribute periodic financial reports to management
  • Prepare the monthly disbursement instructions for the Arena’s lenders, including all applicable supporting files
  • Become the group’s subject matter expert on the reporting and forecasting software (NSBP and Oracle), build, maintain, run, and distribute reports; also help implement the forecasting module
  • Partner with team to provide creative suggestions and proactive solutions to internal and external customer issues and reporting needs
  • Complete other special projects as requested by leadership

Qualifications

  • 7 + years of financial planning and analysis or accounting experience
  • Bachelor's Degree, Finance or Accounting emphasis preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (V-lookups, Sum-ifs, Pivot Tables, etc.)
  • Experience with NetSuite and NSBP is a plus, but not required
  • Highly motivated, with strong work ethic
  • Must be a fierce communicator, with an expert ability to present and communicate new ideas and concepts
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented, resourceful, quick learner and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously with the ability to reprioritize and shift quickly
  • A high degree of personal integrity and consistently put the interests of the organization first
  • Must be a cross-organizational collaborator
  • Ability to work flexible hours and flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays
  • Minimal travel (<10% travel) may be required.  Trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay away from home for one or two nights
