Overview

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Baking Assistant to join our bakery team for the Harry Potter Experience! The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and production of various baked goods, ensuring high quality and consistency. This role is perfect for someone eager to learn and grow in the baking industry.

 

This role will pay an hourly wage of $20.00.

This position will remain open until December 31, 2024

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and baking of a variety of products, including cake pops, cookies, pastries, and other confectionery items. 
  • Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes and established standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area, including equipment and utensils.
  • Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure products are baked to perfection.
  • Help with inventory management, including receiving and storing supplies.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
  • Assist with packaging and presentation of baked goods for sale.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a confectionery or baking environment is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Basic knowledge of confectionery techniques and ingredients is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
