Overview

The Food & Beverage Event Aesthetic Designer plays an important role in supporting Rhubarb Hospitality Collection(RHC) to create beautiful and memorable scenescapes that represent the RHC luxury brand.

 

This role pays an hourly wage of $25 to $27.

Responsibilities

 

  • Developing and presenting event concepts based on department needs and brand guidelines
  • Collaborating with Team to understand vision and objectives
  • Creating detailed design layouts for food stations, bars, concession stands and other special events.
  • Selecting and sourcing materials and props to execute the event design
  • Creating and managing menu cards, signage, and additional collateral as needed for catering department
  • Update and manage digital and printed menu signs for concessions, special events and other departments as needed
  • Assisting with seasonal décor for F&B areas
  • Managing event budgets and timelines effectively
  • Overseeing the setup and breakdown of event spaces as needed
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations
  • Communicating progress and any changes to clients and team members
  • Staying updated on industry trends and incorporating innovative design elements
  • Providing on-site event support to address any last-minute issues or changes
  • Evaluating the success of events and gathering feedback for future improvements

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in event planning or design
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite , Canva, AutoCAD
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creative and successful event designs.
  • Knowledge of Food and Beverage industry preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong negotiation skills with vendors and suppliers
  • Knowledge of current design trends and best practices
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as an Event Designer or similar role
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team
  • Creative and innovative mindset
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional time management abilities
  • Basic understanding of technical aspects related to event setup
  • Ability to handle stress and remain calm in demanding situations
