Overview

The Marketing Intern will support OVG's hospitality marketing team in various aspects of marketing and communications, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The intern will assist with campaign development, content creation, market research, and business development initiatives. This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented, and motivated individual eager to learn and contribute to the success of OVG's hospitality marketing initiatives. 

 

This role will pay an hourly rate of $17.00

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Content Collection & Creation: Assist venues in capturing high-quality video and photography of food and beverage offerings, ensuring the content is visually appealing and aligned with brand standards. Support the creation of engaging content for various platforms, including social media and promotional materials, focusing on showcasing our food and beverage offering.  
  • Campaign Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns, including brainstorming ideas, drafting copy, and coordinating with designers. 
  • Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, editorial calendars, competitive analysis, and consumer behavior to support marketing strategies and initiatives. 
  • Event Coordination: Assist in planning and executing marketing events, including promotional activities at OVG Hospitality-managed venues and partner events. 
  • Reporting & Analytics: Support the team in tracking and analyzing the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, preparing case study reports for internal stakeholders. 
  • Marketing Resources Development: Assist in the creation of marketing resources and educational tools for venues to utilize, aimed at improving the quality and effectiveness of F&B marketing materials and initiatives. 
  • Administrative Tasks: Provide general administrative support to the marketing team

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Hospitality, or a related field. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 
  • Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) and basic understanding of social media management tools. 
  • Basic knowledge of design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Enthusiasm for marketing, hospitality, and event management.
