Overview

The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for the recruitment and scheduling of catering staff at Brûlée Catering. Responsible for ensuring that each Brulee event is adequately staffed with proper team members distributing staff across multiple events to ensure that there is the proper variety of staff skill sets based on needs of each event.

 

This role pays an hourly rate of $25.

Responsibilities

· Maintain and oversee all aspects of catering & event service team staffing utilizing online staffing platform monitoring availability and confirmation rates ensuring team members keep their availability up to date in platform.

· Schedules event front of house team members based on the labor needs of each event. Partnering with Service Manager & Brulee Leadership Team to ensure that events are fully staffed on the needs of each event.

· Tracks team members projected hours and weekly labor spends to ensure that financial budgets are met.

· Field “Staffing Hotline” calls and notifications alerting teams in field of any issues or conflicts.

· Provides & documents scheduling feedback to Service Manager on each team member.

· Reviews companywide event orders, calendars and reports to ensure that labor needs are fulfilled.

· Coordinates outside agency labor, when necessary, with Service Manager.

· Thoroughly and accurately uses applicable Brûlée systems (Tripleseat, Nowsta and more)

· Promotes a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale.

· Partners with Service Manager & Field Leadership to determine projected staffing needs by season participating in mass hiring events seasonally.

· Promptly resolves and documents any team member staffing or scheduling conflicts.

· Ensures that team member hours and time sheets are provided to office manager for daily payroll processing promptly.

· Provide check in support to service team in field for large scale events.

· Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications

· Minimum 2 years prior experience.

· Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff and guests in a clear, professional and courteous manner which fosters a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.

· Ability to make sound decisions quickly and under pressure.

· Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.

· Ability to communicate, read, and write in English.

· Solid working knowledge of computer applications: Microsoft office, Outlook/Excel/Word, POS systems, timekeeping systems, and inventory control systems.

· Possess valid Food Handlers certificate and Alcohol Service Permit if required by state or local government.

· Ability to consistently adhere to the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, ethics and confidentiality.
