Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Warehouse Inventory Manager to oversee all aspects of inventory management and stock control within the food and beverage (F&B) operations at Rogers Field at Nat Bailey Stadium. This role is critical in ensuring that all F&B outlets are fully stocked, inventory levels are accurately maintained, and reporting is completed in a timely and precise manner. The Inventory Manager will play a key role in minimizing waste, optimizing stock levels, and contributing to the overall efficiency and profitability of the F&B program. 

 

This role pays a yearly salary $68,000 to $75,000 CAD and is bonus eligible.

Responsibilities

 

Inventory Management 

  • Oversee the purchasing, receiving, and storage of all food, beverage, and supply items for the stadium’s F&B program. 
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management system, ensuring accurate data integrity and stock level tracking. 
  • Conduct scheduled inventory counts and possess a strong ability to reconcile variances. 
  • Establish and monitor par levels to ensure optimal stock without over purchasing. 
  • Analyze usage trends to forecast future inventory needs, especially for peak game days and special events. 

 

Stock Control 

  • Coordinate and maintain the gameday distribution of stock to concession stands, suites, and other F&B outlets within the stadium. 
  • Ensure proper rotation of items using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method. 
  • Monitor and address stock discrepancies, damaged goods, or product expirations. 
  • Implement controls to minimize and track waste and theft. 

 

Office Management and Reporting 
 

  • Ensure accurate invoice reporting and preparation, verifying purchase orders, receipts, and vendor documentation for compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain adherence to corporate submissions, reporting requirements, and deadlines to ensure timely and accurate data management.  
  • Prepare inventory reports on a regular basis, tracking key metrics such as cost of goods sold (COGS), inventory turnover rates, and shrinkage.
  • Analyze inventory data and provide insights and recommendations for optimizing stock management and reducing costs. 

 

Vendor Relations 

  • Collaborate with vendors to place orders, track deliveries, and resolve any discrepancies or issues. 
  • Receive product on assigned delivery days and ensure receipts are correct. 

 

Operational Efficiency 

  • Work closely with the F&B management team to align inventory levels with menu offerings and anticipated sales volumes. 
  • Develop and implement inventory and stock control policies and procedures to streamline operations. 
  • Provide training to staff on inventory handling, stockroom organization, and best practices. 
  • Ensure each outlet is serviced effectively on and throughout event days. 

 

Reporting and Analysis 

  • Prepare regular inventory reports, including cost of goods sold (COGS), inventory turnover rates, and shrinkage. 
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improving stock management and reducing costs. 
  • Ensure accurate invoice reporting and preparation, verifying purchase orders, receipts, and vendor documentation for compliance with company policies. 

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in food and beverage or hospitality industries. 
  • Strong understanding of inventory control concepts. 
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling standards. 
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. 
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data for decision-making. 
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with vendors, management, and staff. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, particularly during game days and special events. 
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
