Overview

Responsible for working at the assigned concession stand, which includes receiving monies for purchases, giving correct change and serving food to patrons.

 

This role pays an hourly rate of $10.00 to $11.50, plus tips.

This position will remain open until May 16, 2025.

Responsibilities

JOB DUTIES: (including but not limited to)

  • Operate equipment such as: microwave oven, drink dispenser, cash register, mops, brooms, nacho warmer, crock-pot and other related equipment or appliances.
  • Clean and maintains indoor and outdoor concession area.
  • Take money for concessions and gives correct change.
  • Prepares and serves food and drink items to patrons.
  • Operates a cash register.
  • Receives monies and gives change to patrons entering pool as assigned.
  • Opens and closes the concession stand as needed.
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to speak clearly so that listeners may understand.
  • Must be able to make fast, simple, repeated movements of fingers, hands and wrists.
  • Ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach out with the body, arms and/or legs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent GED. Equivalent experience may be substituted.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with some holiday and weekend work required.
  • Ability to take food orders, prepare and serve food.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to count money and make accurate change.
  • Ability to report to work as scheduled and notify the appropriate individuals in advance if unable to work.
  • Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with the public and other
    employees.
  • Experience in using a cash register is preferred.
  • Ability to learn how to operate a cash register

SPECIAL CHARACTERISTICS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Have a medium level of social contact. Ability to work closely with staff and deal often with
    patrons.
  • Must be able to provide excellent service to all patrons,
  • Ability to read and understand written information
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Excellent listening skills.
