Overview

Under the direction of the Director of Accounting, serves as working team leader for the Accounts Receivable team. Spearheads the A/R department training and recommends process improvements. To succeed as an Accounts Receivable Lead, you must be able to perform your assigned duties with minimal supervision and take charge of the Sage to NetSuite transition as it relates to Accounts Receivables. You should be detailed – oriented, organized, and self-motivated with strong math, communication and computer skills.

This role pays an hourly rate of $29.81-$32.69.

Responsibilities

  • Processing, verifying, and posting of invoices for services rendered
  • Daily recording of cash payments
  • Daily electronic check deposit
  • Researching and resolving account discrepancies
  • Processing and recording transaction
  • Maintaining records regarding payments
  • Assist with collections as needed
  • Preforming administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, preparing invoices and contracting clients to discuss their accounts
  • Mentors and coaches team
  • Promotes teamwork, remaining available to assist as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred
  • At least 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong math, tying, and computer skills, especially MS excel
  • Excellent communication, research, problem solving and time management skills
  • High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments
