Overview

The Catering Bartender is responsible for providing excellent beverage service during golf tournaments and related events. This role ensures guests are served professionally, responsibly, and in accordance with event standards. The bartender will work closely with the catering team to deliver a smooth and enjoyable guest experience.

 

This role pays an hourly rate of $18.00.

This position will remain open until July 25, 2025.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and break down the bar area before and after events.

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar throughout the event.

  • Check guest identification and ensure legal drinking age compliance.

  • Restock bar inventory as needed during the event.

  • Handle cash or credit card transactions when applicable.

  • Provide friendly, timely, and professional customer service.

  • Assist with additional catering tasks as needed (e.g., food service, cleanup).

  • Follow all safety and alcohol service guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 (or 21) years of age, depending on local alcohol laws.

  • Previous bartending experience preferred, especially in a catering or event setting.

  • TABC or other relevant alcohol service certification required.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends.

  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
