Overview

The Director of Ticketing - Venue will oversee all event ticket operations; encompassing the entirety of ticketing platforms required to deliver annual license products, multi-event packages and single event ticket sales for Santander Arena & Performing Arts Center. This candidate will be a driven, self-starter with a demonstrated history of leading successful teams. This candidate will interface with a host of Promoters and Internal Stakeholders to manage events from show build to settlement, while leading an experienced team of skilled ticketing professionals. 

 

This role will pay an annual salary of $60,000-$70,000 and is bonus eligible.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that accurate Premium and GA ticket manifests are created for every event at the arena 
  • Lead the building of all arena events in Ticketmaster Host, TM1, and Archtics systems 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with promoters and their respective ticketing personnel 
  • Oversee and manage full-time Ticketing Team, support and lead the hiring, managing, and training of ticket office staff 
  • Assist in the preparation and implementation of all Suite Holder and Club Seat Holder License programs, including new sales and renewal campaigns 
  • Manage integrations with third-party ticket vendors, as well as relevant food & beverage, parking and business intelligence systems 
  • Proactively develop accurate and insightful reports on ticket sales and services, as well as respond to internal requests and changing business needs 
  • Operate as the primary facilitator for settlement and ticket report reconciliations with the finance department 
  • Communicate openly with Premium Sales department on all aspects of ticket operations, provide relevant systems’ training, and become strategic partner to maximize Premium revenues across the organization 
  • Work closely Marketing team to deliver right-of-first-refusal programs, ensure ticket-based customer lists are accurate and ensure mobile ticketing standards are maintained 
  • Liaise with Venue Operations team to ensure CAD requirements, seating updates and production changes are accurately updated to ongoing manifests in a timely manner 
  • Create, manage and update ongoing box office protocols and standards
  • Create an environment where proactively and accuracy is a hallmark of the ticketing team’s ongoing output

Qualifications

  • Ticketmaster and Archtics platform experience required 
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or a combination of related education and work experience 
  • Minimum of 10 years of ticketing experience required 
  • Minimum of 6 years of managing staff 
  • Proficient in MS Office with Salesforce or similar CRM experience 
  • Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills 
  • Team player with a positive attitude, professionalism, resourcefulness, integrity, motivation, and a strong work ethic 
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays 
  • A high degree of personal integrity and consistently put the interests of the organization ahead of their own
