Overview

The Draft Beer Specialist position supports, services and maintains all Draft beer at CSU Canvas Stadium. These locations consist of Portable bars with cocktails on draft, draft beer portables, and long draw draft beer with towers in each concession stand on the concourse and Premium levels. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while performing routine maintenance on all draught equipment. 

  

This role will pay an hourly wage of $19.00-$20.00 and is tip eligible. 
  
Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. Also, OVG provides part-time, seasonal, and internship employees with one hour of accrued paid leave per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year. 
  
This position will remain open until August 29, 2025.

 

Responsibilities

  • Be available for all 7 CSU Home football games, which include a couple Friday nights and Saturdays (Schedule posted online). 
  • On-Site support during all CSU home football games.
  • Perform routine maintenance on all draught equipment including jockey boxes, draft portables, and draft beer towers within Canvas Stadium.
  • Communicate with Concessions and Premium Managers on any additional needs or concerns with the draft equipment.
  • Assist Warehouse Runners with delivery of kegs to concession stands, tapping and untapping of kegs during games. 
  • Must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.
  • Ensure that all OVG and Colorado State University policies, procedures and practices are adhered to, including compliance related to alcohol service, food handling/sanitation guidelines, and general safety policies and procedures.
  • Follow all federal/state/local guidelines with regard to alcohol service. 
  • Report any compliance issues to Concessions Manager immediately. 

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Knowledge of draught systems is a plus.
  • Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge is a plus.
  • Job duties are performed inside of the stadium and outside on the concourse.
  • Ability to work with exposure to outside weather, walk-in cooler temperatures.
  • Take pride in personal appearance; reporting to work in neat and clean clothing; maintaining well-groomed hair and personal hygiene as established by Company policy 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of and ability to appropriately interpret and follow policies and procedures. 
  • Ability to meet the demands of the work schedule to be at work and on time; work long hours if needed.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Must have ability to remain stationary for long periods of up to (4) hours in length; must be able to safely reach, bend, stop and frequently lift up to 160lbs.
