Overview

The Stand Manager will be responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing all stand operations. This includes managing staff, ensuring product and service standards are met, and implementing and maintaining procedures to maximize operating efficiency. The Stand Manager will play a key role in maintaining a clean, organized, and customer-friendly environment while ensuring smooth daily operations.

 

This role pays an hourly rate of $14.00-$18.50.

This position will remain open until September 5, 2025.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the concessions stand during music festivals.

  • Supervise stand staff, ensuring excellent customer service and a positive team environment.

  • Oversee setup and breakdown of the stand before and after each event.

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely restocking of food, beverages, and supplies.

  • Ensure all food handling, safety, and sanitation standards are strictly followed.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment throughout the event.

  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately, ensuring all sales are properly recorded.

  • Resolve customer issues and complaints quickly and professionally.

  • Train new team members on stand procedures, product knowledge, and festival protocols.

  • Communicate effectively with event organizers, vendors, and upper management as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in food service, retail, or hospitality.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer service and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in basic math and financial management for cash handling and inventory.
  • Familiarity with food handling safety and alcohol service regulations.
  • Knowledge of concession stand equipment and inventory management.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
  • Capability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
  • Work in outdoor settings with exposure to weather, loud music, and large crowds.
