Overview

We are seeking a highly capable Manager of Security to develop and implement security strategies at Acrisure Arena. You will be creating security policies and procedures, controlling budgets for security operations, and coordinating security staff.

To ensure success as a Manager of Security, you should possess extensive knowledge of surveillance techniques and experience in a similar role. A top-notch Manager of Security will be someone whose security expertise results in a safe and well-protected environment at our Arena and of our Guests. This position reports to the Director of Security and is a member of the Operations Team.

 

This role will pay an annual salary of $68,640 to $69,000 and is bonus eligible.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and Implementing Security Strategies:
         This includes creating and maintaining security policies, procedures, and emergency response plans. 
 
  • Managing Security Staff:
    Overseeing the hiring, training, and performance of security personnel, including guards, officers, and other staff. 
     
  • Conducting Risk Assessments:
    Evaluating potential threats and vulnerabilities to identify areas for improvement and mitigation. 
     
  • Monitoring Security Systems:
    Overseeing surveillance systems, access controls, and other security technologies. 
     
  • Responding to Security Incidents:
    Investigating and resolving security breaches, incidents, and emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement when necessary. 
     
  • Ensuring Compliance:
    Maintaining compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. 
     
  • Managing Budget and Resources:
    Overseeing the security budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation, and evaluating new technologies. 
     
  • Training and Communication:
    Developing and delivering security training programs for employees and other stakeholders. 
     
  • Collaborating with Other Departments:
    Working with various departments, such as IT, facilities management, and human resources, to implement and maintain comprehensive security measures. 

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong Leadership and Management Skills: The ability to motivate, supervise, and guide security personnel. Three to Five Plus Years Experience in a Security Supervisory Role.
     
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: The ability to effectively communicate security policies, procedures, and incident reports to various stakeholders. 
     
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to assess risks, identify vulnerabilities, and develop solutions. 
     
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of security systems, technologies, and best practices. 
     
  • Compliance and Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. 
     
  • Crisis Management and Incident Response Skills: The ability to effectively respond to security incidents and emergencies. 
     
Education and Experience:
  • A bachelor's degree in criminal justice, security management, or a related field is typically required. 
     
  • 3-5 yeas prior experience in security management, law enforcement, or military service may be preferred. 
     
  • Relevant certifications, such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), may also be beneficial
