Overview

This internship will provide experience with event day responsibilities for premium clients at a live entertainment venue. Interns will gain working knowledge of client management, Salesforce, and Archtics. 

Internship details: 

  • Not to exceed 20 hours per week 
  • Internship Dates: Fall/Spring Semester (August– May) 
  • Location: Moody Center, on UT campus 

 

This role pays an hourly rate of $13.00

 

This position will remain open until August 1, 2025.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Premium team on event day to ensure suites and clubs are client ready. Including but not limited to: ensuring client gifts or items are put out, TVs are set, suite is clean and ready for guests, etc.   
  • Answer client questions and assist with needs and requests on show day. 
  • Learn sales & service techniques to better serve our clients.  
  • Learn Salesforce and Archtics to complete orders as needed. 
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 
  • Frequent bending, lifting 15-20 pounds, exposure to multiple external elements, extensive walking through the building, exposure to loud noises, and standing for long periods of time. 
  • Willingness to work evening shifts for shows and some weekend events.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills  
  • Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and work in a team setting 
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Previous experience in a customer service-based industry is preferred 
  • Previous experience within a sports, entertainment, or related field is preferred 
  • Willingness to learn and open to coaching 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)  
  • High level of demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and ability to maintain sensitive information
