Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and service-driven Director of Perfomance Dining to oversee all aspects of food service for Players and Staff. This role ensures that meals are nutritionally optimized, executed efficiently, and delivered in alignment with the team’s performance needs. 

 

This role pays an annual salary of $80,000-$90,000.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure meals are prepared and served in accordance with nutritional guidelines, dietary preferences, and performance-based fueling needs.
  • Hyper-focus on honoring dietary restrictions and allergies.
  • Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations in all food service areas.
  • Maintain a seamless and well-organized dining experience, including buffet setups, meal plating, and grab-and-go options.
  • Coordinate with catering partners and vendors to provide high-quality ingredients and meals that meet athlete standards.
  • Work closely with the nutritionist and culinary staff to execute on meal plans that align with training, recovery, and game-day schedules.
  • Implement strategies to enhance the overall dining experience, including menu variety, food presentation, and service flow.
  • Conduct regular inspections of kitchen and dining areas to maintain cleanliness and operational efficiency.
  • Manage inventory and oversee food storage to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
  • Supervise kitchen and dining staff, providing leadership and hands-on support as needed.
  • Schedule and coordinate staffing for meal services, ensuring adequate coverage and efficiency.
  • Work with external food service providers, ensuring consistent quality and service levels.
  • Ensur all SOP's are being met. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Nutrition, Food Service, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in food service management, ideally in professional sports, high-end hospitality, or large-scale dining operations.
  • Understanding of sports nutrition and athlete dietary needs is a plus.
  • Experience managing catering, kitchen operations, and vendor relations.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and game days.
