The Event Services Intern will learn to manage every aspect of upcoming building events from the advance planning stages through the end of the event; observe the building security and interact with local public safety officials to ensure events run smoothly; assist with the coordination of communication between event staff/security and delegate assignments; support overall customer and lessee satisfaction and experience.
Alerus Center is offering a paid internship. We are looking for students who want professional level experience and have the initiative, skills and drive to excel. This program will give college students an opportunity to work alongside professionals in the live entertainment, sports, and venue management industry.
The Event Services Intern reports directly to the Director of Events. This position will have the opportunity to learn and get a hands-on look at the planning and execution of various Alerus Center departments including Guest Services, Security, and Event Management for events including basketball games, concerts, and family shows.
This role pays an hourly rate of $16.00
This position will remain open until August 10, 2025.
