Overview

Events by RHC is looking for an Event Production Manager to join our dynamic team. We specialize in high-touch, upscale catering with an emphasis on excellence in service from start to finish. In this role, you will be responsible for working directly with clients to ensure that we not only bring their vision to life, but that RHC excellence is executed in all facets. Responsibilities include food and beverage planning, facilitating event logistics, ordering and organizing rental orders, communicating with staff about event execution, and evaluating the success of each event.

 

This role pays an annual salary of $90,000-$105,000

Responsibilities

  • Work with Event Directors to capture and implement client needs as it pertains to their food and beverage experience
  • Outline all event needs, such as event setup, necessary transportation accommodations, venue location, vendors, food and drink menus, floor plans and runs of show
  • Communicate with on-site staff through clear banquet event orders to ensure event logistic needs are met
  • Maintain positive and flexible relationships with all clients and vendors
  • Communicate clearly with all departments to ensure all timelines and logistical needs are met
  • Troubleshoot issues on site and effectively communicate with the onsite service and culinary team
  • Engage with culinary to ensure that all event details are properly communicated
  • Liaise with onsite vendors to ensure seamless set up
  • Participate in all internal meetings and ensure details are received from Event Directors in a timely manner
  • Exercise complete control over all onsite set up, logistics, and staff communication
  • Produce and execute rental orders in accordance with budget
  • Ensure all staff levels are appropriate for client requests and event format
  • Produce event paperwork and details across multiple departments
  • Assign best fit serving vessels for beverage and culinary
  • Create production runs of show
  • Create applicable mockups/directional assets to inform onsite team of client expectations for food and beverage service
  • Solicit active feedback to improve quality of event experience; work with Director of Operations to implement best practices

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Event Production and or relevant hospitality experience
  • Flexible schedule based upon event needs
  • Effective communication and management skills
  • Ability to problem solve and manage multiple clients at once
  • Financial acumen and excellence in client management and communication
