The Music Festival Cashier is responsible for efficiently processing sales transactions at food, beverage, or merchandise booths during live event operations. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Cashiers ensure accurate cash handling, maintain cleanliness at their station, and contribute to a smooth guest experience throughout the festival.
This is a seasonal part-time role and will be open from July 22, 2025 to October 22, 2025.
This role pays an hourly rate of $15.00, plus tips.

Greet guests with a friendly, positive attitude
Accurately process cash, credit, and mobile payments
Maintain an organized and clean workstation
Follow all cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) procedures
Communicate menu items, pricing, and promotions clearly to customers
Verify age for alcohol purchases when applicable
Assist in restocking inventory as needed
Report equipment issues or guest concerns to supervisors promptly
Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
Support team members in ensuring smooth operations during peak hours
Must be at least 18 years old
Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
Ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in varying weather
Basic math skills and comfort with POS systems
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings
Must pass any required background checks or training (e.g., TABC or food handler certification if applicable)
