Overview

Bar staff are responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a fast-paced environment. They maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming bar area, ensure compliance with all alcohol regulations, and contribute to a positive guest experience through friendly and efficient service.

 

This is a seasonal part-time role and will be open from July 23, 2025 to October 23, 2025.

 

This role pays an hourly rate of $10.00 plus tips.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner

  • Prepare and serve drinks according to company recipes and legal standards

  • Check customer identification to ensure legal drinking age

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bar, tools, and glassware

  • Restock bar inventory and supplies as needed

  • Process payments accurately via cash or POS system

  • Monitor guest intoxication levels and follow responsible service practices

  • Collaborate with other staff and support barback or food service roles when necessary

  • Handle customer concerns or complaints promptly and courteously

  • Comply with all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 or 21 years old (depending on local/state laws)

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Prior bartending or barback experience is a plus

  • TABC or state alcohol service certification (required in many jurisdictions)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Basic math and cash-handling skills

  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs

  • Must be punctual, reliable, and a team player
