Overview

The Assistant Premium Managers primary purpose is to oversee the daily Performance Dining operations in support of the Premium Manager. Ensure all hospitality operations and Performance Dining services are coordinated to exceed client expectations, while driving initiatives to achieve profit objectives for the Performance Dining Program. This position will work closely with the Premium Manager and Executive Sous Chef to ensure the standards of service and safety guidelines are met.  

 

The benchmarks for a successful Assistant Premium Manager are: The maintenance of all quality standards for service, cleanliness and safety; employee retentions and staff development. Assist the Premium Manager in the overall front-of-house operations while exceeding client expectations through strong leadership and management skills. 

 

The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work on a variable event-driven schedule including evenings and weekends.  Flexible availability, professional presentation and outstanding interpersonal skills.   

 

This role pays an hourly rate of $24.00 - $26.00

Responsibilities

 

  • Maintain exceptional client relationships and ensure a high-quality dining environment through thoughtful staffing, programming, and operations. 
  • Plan and execute the Performance Dining Program, premium events and client activities in collaboration with the Premium Manager and client Committees. 
  • Lead front-of-house staff to deliver consistently excellent service while adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations. 
  • Design and implement engaging training programs, including interactive dining and table-side service experiences. 
  • Oversee accurate timekeeping and compliance with company time management policies. 
  • Conduct daily line-ups, lead staff meetings, and facilitate regular service training sessions. 
  • Collaborate with culinary leadership to enhance menus and guest offerings. 
  • Control labor, linen, and other hospitality-related expenses within budget. 
  • Perform daily walkthroughs to ensure front-of-house areas meet cleanliness and service standards. 
  • Establish and oversee service recovery processes to promptly address guest concerns. 
  • Manage catered events assigned by the Premium Manager from set up to breakdown, coordinating with the hourly staff and culinary teams. 
  • Assists with other department activities, game day activations, premium caterings, and all other hospitality assignments as directed by the Premium Manager or Executive Chef of Performance Dining. 

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years in Club management or related field in Food & Beverage Industry. 
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred. 
  • Deals with highly confidential material (i.e. Member/Employee Data). 
  • Computer literacy required/Spreadsheet knowledge required. Computer skills, good communication skills, ability to be a strong leader. 
  • Professional hospitality environment. 
  • Standing, walking, exposure to temperature changes, dust, fumes, or gases, climbing/ladders, squatting/kneeling, reaching, grasping, pushing/pulling, twisting/bending, lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs. on occasion, folding/unfolding, talking, hearing, and seeing. 
  • Attendance Requirements for this position as outlined on the weekly schedule. 
  • Additional hours are required to meet deadlines for the position, including weekends and/or holidays. 
  • Nationally recognized, advanced food service sanitation training course certification.
