Their duties also include ordering food, beverages, equipment, and supplies necessary for daily operations. They oversee food preparation and kitchen activities, inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas, and ensure compliance with health and food safety regulations. Additionally, food service managers handle customer complaints about food quality or service, schedule staff hours, assign duties, manage budgets and payroll records, and establish standards for personnel performance and customer service.
This role pays an annual salary of $65,000-$80,000.
