Overview

We are seeking outgoing, skilled, and service-driven seasonal part-time Food Service Assistants to join our team to work during Jungle Island's Survivor Immersive Experience. The Food Service Assistants are the behind-the-scenes heroes who ensure the dining room operates smoothly and every guest enjoys a memorable experience. From setting up and maintaining a guest-ready environment to supporting the waitstaff and bartending team in delivering seamless service, this role is essential in executing this special event.

 

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to balance speed, service, and professionalism will help elevate the overall fan experience during every event. Hosts must be personable, professional and able to work in an ever changing fast-paced environment. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.

 

Scheduling for this position may vary depending on event requirements and can occur any day, Monday through Sunday, including daytime and evening hours.

 

This is a seasonal role from January 20, 2026 and will end on April 20, 2026.

 

This role will pay a flat hourly rate of $16.00.

 

This position will remain open until April 20, 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Pulls and stocks supplies and ingredients, cleans kitchen and restaurant areas as needed.
  • Engage and assist guests in show-themed challenges and activities, and help prepare Watch Party experiences.
  • Provides prompt and courteous member service.
  • Work with servers to ensure guest needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Ensure impeccable cleanliness of the restaurant and adhere to food safety standards.
  • Clear tables and reset them according to standards immediately after guests have departed.
  • Set up and breakdown the front of the house service areas.
  • Communicate with servers, food runners and managers to keep service running seamlessly.
  • Help with food running and carryout orders to support the team whenever needed.
  • Assist servers during meal periods, pour water, clear dishes, reset tables, run food, and maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant.
  • Provide excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Greet guests with warmth and a friendly attitude.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English.
  • Weekend availability.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be 18 or over.
  • 6 month or more previous experience prefered.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours.
