Overview

The General Maintenance Worker will assist in coordination and execution of event setup/break down activities, landscaping, maintenance, and operations for the facility, ball fields, and grounds.

 

This role pays an hourly rate of $11.00-$13.00

This position will remain open until May 1, 2026.

Responsibilities

FUNCTIONS (including, but not limited to):

  • Provides event set up and break down services, general maintenance, and landscaping activities involved in the operations of all venue and exhibition & convention and exterior spaces
  • Provide leadership and knowledge for temporary workers when applicable
  • Basic landscaping duties to include grass mowing, edgeing, maintenance of ballfields
  • Deliver, execute, and follow up on assignments provided by supervisors/managers in a timely manner
  • Ensure staff is working safely and are aware of proper safety guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and safe work space
  • Responsibilities will include event set-up/break downs, event coverage, landscaping and cleaning

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand, walk, and provide physical exertion for an entire shift
  • Prior experience in building maintenance/landscaping preferred
  • Ability to lift and move 50 lbs
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather elements
  • Self-motivated and excellent organizational skills
  • Possession of a valid Driver’s License preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work a varied schedule of days, nights, weekends and holidays
