Overview

The Manager, Game Presentation & Fan Engagement is responsible for designing and delivering the in-arena fan experience for AHL games at TD Coliseum. From pre-game energy to final buzzer moments, this role shapes how fans experience the game through entertainment, storytelling, music, visuals, and live moments that make every night memorable.

 

This role pays an annual salary of $50,000-$60,000 CAD.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall game presentation strategy for professional AHL at TD Coliseum.
  • Define the look, feel, and flow of the in-bowl arena fan experience.
  • Create run-of-show plans that balance entertainment, storytelling, and game flow.
  • Ensure game presentation aligns with team brand and season objectives.
  • Design and execute fan engagement elements such as in-game promotions, contests, and activations.
  • Develop ideas that encourage crowd participation and enhance atmosphere.
  • Collaborating with Marketing and Sales to support theme nights, promotions, and ticket initiatives.
  • Support special events, playoffs, and marquee games.
  • Lead in-game execution on event nights, including timing, cues, and coordination.
  • Work closely with in-arena production, audio/visual, and technical teams.
  • Coordinate talent such as hosts, anthem singers, and performers.
  • Troubleshoot live issues and adapt in real time.
  • Curate music video, and visual elements used during games.
  • Collaborate with Creative, Social, and Digital teams to integrate content into game presentation.
  • Ensure content is timely, relevant, and engaging for fans.
  • Partner with AHL Operations, Marketing, Communications, Sales, and Community teams.
  • Align game presentation with brand storytelling and marketing campaigns.
  • Support sponsor activations within the game presentation framework.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Production, Event Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in game presentation, live events, or fan engagement roles.
  • Experience executing live, fast-paced events.
  • Sports or entertainment/theatrical experience is a strong asset.
  • Strong creative instincts and understanding of fan psychology.
  • Excellent organizational and live-event execution skills.
  • Confident decision-maker in high-pressure environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple elements simultaneously.
  • Passion for sports, live entertainment, and fan experience.
