Overview

The Account Executive, Premium Sales role is responsible for generating revenue through premium membership sales, as well as event-by-event sales, specifically for projects within OVG Austin, including Moody Center. This role will act as a dedicated customer service representative to our premium prospects and clients via phone, email, in-person meetings, and web chats, all while proactively engaging with accounts to drive revenue growth.

 

This role pays an hourly rate of $22.00-$24.00 and is commission eligible.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed established revenue goals and KPI metrics tied to monthly and/or yearly annual goals for contracted revenue, new business, event-by-event sales, and renewals.
  • Prospect, network, set appointments, and aggressively sell all available memberships and single event premium inventory as well as follow up on leads provided.
  • Conduct sales via phone, virtual, email, and in-office meetings/sales center presentations.
  • Enhance relationships with new and existing clients and Premium members to create memorable experiences and share best practices related to specific goals and initiatives.
  • Perform accurate and skilled deal-closing.
  • Provide high-end service for our premium seating clients, including but not limited to renewals on an annual basis, collection of payments, receiving executed license agreements, managing day-to-day special requests, etc.
  • Submit requested timely reports to management, including weekly and monthly reports.
  • Utilize Salesforce and Outreach, among other sales software systems, entering all pertinent prospect and customer information in CRM platforms for efficient reporting and historical data purposes.
  • Maximize relationships with clients/members to identify new revenue opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned book of business.
  • Design, present, and execute annual proposals to existing premium clients and referrals.
  • Mutually, with manager, create individual business plan with regards to prospecting, lead generation, number of sales calls, establishing sales goals, timeline for meeting goals, etc.
  • Positively contribute to the sales and service culture by developing mutually beneficial working relationships with all associates across various departments within the organizations
  • Participate and contribute to daily and/or weekly team meetings and training sessions
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Sports Management, Marketing or another related education and work experience. Relevant experience may be substituted for education.
  • Sales experience, preferably in the sports & entertainment industry, preferred
  • Considerable knowledge of sales processes and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to establish solid business relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of sales strategies and service principles.
  • Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects at a time within a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Calendar.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights, and holidays as required.
