Overview

The Suites Lead plays a key leadership role in delivering an exceptional guest experience within our premium seating areas. The Suites Lead is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of assigned suites and club areas while providing direction, guidance, and support to Suite Attendants throughout events. This position ensures suites are properly set, food and beverage service is executed accurately and efficiently, and guests receive courteous and personalized service throughout the event. The Suites Lead serves as a point of contact between the Suite Attendants, management, culinary, and other event operations teams. This position is responsible for helping monitor service standards, food quality, alcohol compliance, inventory, sanitation, and event closeout procedures. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can lead by example, remain calm in a fast-paced environment, and proactively identify and resolve guest and operational needs.

 

This role will pay an hourly rate of $23.00 - $25.00

Responsibilities

  • Lead the suite attendants day-to-day during events and assist management with the overall operation of assigned suites and premium seating areas.
  • Assist with the setup of food service areas within specific suites and club areas based upon pre-orders and event requirements.
  • Ensure all assigned suites are properly set prior to the event based on communication received regarding food, beverage, and guest orders.
  • Assign and distribute responsibilities to Suite Attendants to ensure appropriate coverage and timely service throughout the event.
  • Serve as a point of contact for suite attendants regarding guest requests, service issues, and operational questions.
  • Monitor service levels throughout the event and ensure guests receive professional, courteous, and personalized service.
  • Assist with organization and preparation of events in assigned suites and premium locations.
  • Ensure all suites have the necessary serving ware, equipment, supplies, food, and beverage products prior to the start of the event.
  • Monitor and maintain food quality, presentation, and proper food handling procedures.
  • Ensure all food and beverage orders are delivered accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Have full knowledge of food and beverage menu items, accompaniments, and event-specific offerings.
  • Assist with the service of beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages, in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Monitor and enforce safe alcohol service policies and procedures.
  • Check guest identification to verify minimum age requirements for the purchase or service of alcoholic beverages.
  • Recognize guests who are visibly intoxicated and take appropriate action, including discontinuing alcohol service and notifying management when necessary.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory control and assist with product requisition fulfillment.
  • Assist with financial closeout procedures for each event and ensure appropriate billing and payment processes are followed.
  • Assist management with reviewing event financials, POS transactions, and other required documentation for accuracy.
  • Monitor POS activity and ensure cash and credit transactions are handled accurately and responsibly.
  • Communicate guest concerns, service issues, equipment problems, and operational needs to management in a timely manner.
  • Assist with coaching and training suite attendants on service standards, procedures, safety, sanitation, and guest service expectations.
  • Lead by example by demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, accountability, and exceptional guest service.
  • Ensure team members follow all company policies and procedures, including safety, sanitation, alcohol service, attendance, and guest service standards.
  • Assure that location equipment is operable, properly maintained, and clean prior to the start of each event.
  • Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in all assigned work areas.
  • Observe guest activity and proactively respond to additional requests or service needs.
  • Assist with event breakdown and ensure suites and service areas are properly cleaned, organized, and secured following each event.
  • Demonstrate the ability to meet company standards for excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Work collaboratively with managers, supervisors, culinary, premium services, and other event operations teams to ensure successful event execution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Previous lead, supervisory, or team leadership experience is preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Strong customer service and hospitality skills with the ability to create a positive and memorable guest experience.
  • Ability to effectively lead and coach team members in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner that promotes a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Ability to remain professional and composed while handling multiple priorities and guest requests.
  • Possess a valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations.
  • Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly.
  • Ability to calculate basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages, as they relate to POS transactions, cash reconciliation, billing, and product inventory.
  • Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours based on the event schedule.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout an event while performing assigned duties.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a high level of service and attention to detail.
