Overview

The Concessions Worker prepares and serves concession items to guests. Prepares and pours beverages and serves them to guests. Ensures quality of food presentation. Utilizes a cash register and accepts payment. Must be able to maintain excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.

 

This role pays an hourly rate of $21.30 and is tip eligible.

 

This is a seasonal role from November 9, 2026, and will end on December 31, 2026.

 

This position will remain open until December 31, 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct the cash register sales by taking orders, building orders, and completing the transaction.
  • Build orders, prepare food, and have knowledge of all areas in the concessions operations.
  • Responsible for maintaining stock and supply levels and communicating low-stock items to the Concessions Stand Manager.
  • Listening and responding to customer requests or concerns.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including but not limited to disposal of garbage & cleaning dishes.
  • Serve beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages, responsibly. 
  • Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
  • Prepare and serve traditional beverages at one of our three Beverage Huts.
  • Customer service in and around beverage huts.
  • Utilize POS systems for sales (knowledge of the MyVenue system is an asset).
  • Provide cheerful assistance to market visitors and guests.
  • Upsell products and inform guests of unique offerings.
  • Restocking & inventory tracking.
  • ID checking for liquor service. Check the guest's ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify the minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.
  • Stamp administration and rule enforcement.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Three or more months’ experience in the food service industry preferred.
  • Previous cash handling experience preferred or willingness to learn to handle cash and learn to operate a cash register and corresponding system.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills & a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers & guests.
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
